Swarming is a natural process for the honey bee and its purpose is to reproduce colonies of bees. A swarm of bees can appear to the public a frightning and a nuisance, but if left alone is relatively harmless. Swarms can happen at anytime but normally happen between April and the end of June.
Every beekeeper has a duty of care to ensure that their bees do not swarm and cause a nuisance.

- Contact a local Beekeeper or association for advice
